How to use PDF to JPG
- Add the PDF.
- Choose an Image resolution: 120, 150 or 200 DPI.
- Select Convert to JPG.

Choosing a resolution
DPI decides how many pixels each inch of the page becomes.
- At 150 DPI (the default), a standard A4 page becomes about 1,240 by 1,754 pixels. That looks sharp on screens and suits most uploads.
- Lower and higher: 120 DPI makes smaller files for quick sharing, while 200 DPI keeps small text readable when people zoom in or print the image at a modest size.
- The cost of higher resolution: Higher resolutions also mean larger files and longer processing for long documents.
Why JPG, and when to choose something else
- Efficient for photographs: JPG compresses photographs and color-rich pages very efficiently, so it's the practical choice for brochures, photo pages and anything posted online.
- It softens sharp edges: Its compression slightly softens sharp edges. It can make small text and thin lines look fuzzy.
- For text and diagrams: For pages that are mostly text, diagrams or screenshots, PDF to PNG keeps edges crisp, and PDF to WebP produces smaller files for websites.

What ends up in the images
- Rendered as a viewer shows it: Each page is rendered as it appears in a PDF viewer, including annotations, filled-in form values and stamps, on a white background.
- Proportions are kept: Pages keep their proportions, so landscape pages become landscape images.
- Text is no longer searchable: Text in the images can no longer be selected or searched.
