Real collections of images are rarely one format. A folder for an insurance claim might hold iPhone HEIC photos, a PNG screenshot of an email and a JPG from a colleague. Any Image to PDF accepts all of them together, lets you set the page order, and embeds each image in the way that suits its format, producing one document that anyone can open.
How to use Any Image to PDF
- Add your images. Different formats can be mixed freely.
- Drag the files into the page order you want.
- Select Convert to PDF.
- Download the combined PDF.
How each format is handled
- JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF and TIFF: Standard JPGs are embedded without recompression, and PNG, BMP, GIF and TIFF images are kept lossless.
- HEIC and WebP: HEIC photos, and WebP images without transparency, are stored as high-quality JPEG because PDF can't hold those formats directly.
- Transparency and orientation: Transparent areas in any image are placed on white, camera orientation is applied so photos appear upright, and SVG artwork is added as vector pages.
- One page per image: Each image, and each frame of a multi-page TIFF or animation, becomes one page.
Page sizes in a mixed document
- Size comes from the image: Each page takes its size from its image: 150 pixels per inch for pixel images, and the SVG's own size for vector artwork.
- Pages can differ: So a mixed document can have pages of different sizes, like a tall phone photo next to a wide screenshot. That keeps every image whole and uncropped.
- Printing a mixed document: Most viewers handle mixed page sizes smoothly, and when printing, choosing fit to page scales each page to the paper.
Building a tidy document
- Number the pages: Once the images are combined, Add Page Numbers makes it easy to refer to specific pages, and Compress PDF reduces the size of photo-heavy collections.
- For photos of printed pages: If some images are photos of printed pages, OCR PDF adds searchable text.

Limitations to know
Any Image to PDF places one image per page, sized to the image or to the paper size you choose, and can make one PDF per image instead of a single file. HEIC and SVG support depend on optional server components, and text inside images isn't searchable until OCR is applied.

Can I change the order after adding files?
Yes. Drag files up or down in the list before processing. The list order becomes the page order.
Why do my pages have different sizes?
With Same as image, each page is sized to fit its own image. Choose a paper size such as A4 to give every page the same size, with the image fitted inside.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
The limit is the total upload size, which is 80 MB per job on a default VelloDoc server. Larger collections can be converted in batches and joined with Merge PDF.
